OVERVIEW
SAVING LIVES THROUGH DESIGN
Hello! My name is Drew Bavis, a first-year student studying Public Health and Media Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from Charlotte, NC, I graduated from William Amos Hough High School in 2024.
Earning Assured Enrollment to the Hussman School of Media and Journalism at UNC Chapel Hill, I’ve been dedicated to design before entering college. My passion to put a smile on people’s faces and use social media for good has never wavered during my time experimenting with the art.
As the Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook, the founder of a service-oriented club, Hough Hand Me Downs, the Publicity Chairman of National Honor Society, and many other executive positions at my high school, I know how to take on a large responsibility of tasks and get them done effectively.
Now, I hope to bridge the gap between the healthcare world and the patient through my creative way of storytelling.
